Hey everyone. I am happy to say that I made it back from my vacation in one piece and had the best time. I highly suggest family road trips. We drove from Oregon to Indiana to visit family and saw so much cool stuff on the way.
Now for my BIG ANNOUNCEMENT. I have been chosen to be the August Guest Designer for the Meljen's Designs DT blog. I am soooo super excited. Two of my crafty friends are DT members there, Miss Dee and Miss Callie. Thanks for letting me join you ladies and I can't wait to get to know some of the other DT. I am a big fan of Melissa's images so when I was offered the spot of course I had to do it, even though I was on vacation for the 1st week. I even managed to craft while on vaca. Yay me.
Go here to check out my Welcome Post http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.com/2010/08/meet-our-august-guest-desinger.html and see what lovely things Miss Dee had to say about me. **Blush**
Here are some cards I made for that post
Freebie Image: "Little Apple Worm"
New Release image: "FruFru Fairy Pony"
Also since today is Tuesday, that means that it is Inspiration Day over at the Meljen's Designs DT blog. The DT has cranked out some amazing cards for you all to check out today. I for sure am inspired by the girls creations.
Here is my inspiration card for you today using "Happy Little Gnome". I got such joy out of playing with this image. He reminds me of Dopey from Snow White. I hope that he inspires you to create something.
Lastly, I have a few reminders for ya. One is that there is a fab freebie on the Meljen's Designs DT blog.
Also you have got a few more days to enter our Clean and Simple challenge!
Can't wait to be back on Thursday with the new challenge. I am working on my card for it tonight.
