Look what I won

Hey everyone. I am so excited I just had to share. So a great blog Tinker & Co. had a contest to name one of their new image characters. I saw the cute little Rooster and I felt he needed a good ole countryboy name so I suggested Hank and guess what. Jo loved my suggestion and named him that. Because she chose my name I won this fabulous kit.

Please everyone go check them out here http://tinkernco.blogspot.com/. You will love them as much as I do. She has some amazing images and papers. The May freebie is a great set of papers.

Thanks Mom

Hi everyone. Hoping you all are having a great Tuesday. I am sharing with you today the card I made for my mom for Mother's Day. I really hope she likes it.

Here are the challenges that this card is entered in.

1. The sketch was taken from Friday Sketchers this week over at http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/ . I was slightly intimidated by this after seeing the DT samples but I had to try it.

2. Both the ABC Challenge http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ and I Love Digi http://ilovedigichallenge.blogspot.com/ are asking for Thank You cards. I made it a Thank You Mom card so that I could give it for Mother's Day.

3. Flutter by Wednesdays http://flutterbywednesdays.blogspot.com/ requested that we keep oit clean & simple. Well as many of you know that is how almost all my cards are.

4. Over at Stamptacular Sunday http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/ the challange was to celebrate moms and you got an extra entry if you mad ethe card specifically for your mom. Well this counts as two then.

Card Details:

Mother's Day card

Happy Monday everyone. I hope you all had a fab weekend. We had my son's 3rd birthday party and wow was that entertaining.

Here is my card I managed to make in and this card fits 9 challenges. OMG thats alot. So here we go.

1. I used the sketch challenge at Inspirational Card Sketches http://icsketches.blogspot.com/ to create this card. I felt it worked with the image and the papers I was planning on using. This sketch was great and I will definately be using it again

2. Nutshells http://nutcrafters-nutshells.blogspot.com/ , Kaboodle Doodles http://www.kaboodledoodles.blogspot.com/ , and Whimsical Wednesday http://www.thediedrichdare.blogspot.com/ are all challenging us to make a spring themed card. Well I figured Mother's Day and flowers are pretty Springy.

3. Twisted Thursday #54 http://s2gpapercraftingcontest.blogspot.com/ and The Pink Elephant http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/ is asking us to make a card for Mom. Well this card is actually going to be going to my Grandma and I hope she loves it.

4. Cute Card Thursday's challenge 110 http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ was to "make your own". Well I made my own flower out of ribbon & a button. Its a little larger than i had anticipated but I still like the way it turned out.

5. Totally Gorjuss http://www.totallygorjuss.blogspot.com/ is challenging us to do stitching. I used a green glitter pen and faux stitched around all the pink bordering.

6. Anyone for Anya http://anyoneforanya.blogspot.com/ is asking for lots of layers. I think this fits that from the semi-circles to the image and the sentiment and dont forget the flower. There are quite a few layers without going overboard and making it look to busy.
