Sweet Lottie

Happy Friday everyone, we made it through the week and for me what a big week it was. Sunday started with going to a Daytona 500 party to celebrate the race and Valentine's with friends. Then we had Monday off which was fun to spend with my boys. Wednesday was my birthday, the big 34. Tomorrow is going to be a great day too, hopefully a movie with friends, taking the boys to ToysRUs and then a nice birthday dinner with my family. A girl couldnt ask for more.

Now onto my card for today. This card fits several hallenges and I am quite happy with the way it turned out.

1st challenge is where I got my sketch. The Greeting Farm decided to have a midweek challenge in which we were to CASE a card of Maria's. Check it out at http://www.splendidstamping.blogspot.com

2nd challenge is over at Anyone for Anya where this week we were to use flowers somewhere on our cards. Check them out over at http://www.anyoneforanya.blogspot.com

3rd challenge was to Keep it Simple over at Cupcake Crafts. I make very simple cards anyway so I loved this challenge. Check out the DT cards at http://www.cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com

4th challenge was to use only ONE paper and the challengers was ABC Challenge. Wow that wasnt easy to do but I found this double sided paper in my stash and I think it all came together very nicely. Plus the DP matched my A2 card perfectly. Go on over to http://www.abc-challenge.blogspot.com for some great examples and inspiration.

the 5th and final challenge was for one over at Card Making Mommas at Cafemom. The challenge there this week was a new one. Its called Blog Challenge and everyweek a new blog will be picked to play along with. This week it was one I was already doing which was the Cupcake Crafts challenge.

Well thanks for looking everyone and have a great weekend.

a man card

Happy Friday everyone. I hope you all have great things planned for this Valentine's weekend. I know I do. We are taking the boys to the Monster Truck Jam tomorrow and then on Sunday we are celebrating Valentine's day with a good old Daytona 500 party. Can't wait for some racing.

Now onto my card for the day. My uncle's birthday is tomorrow so I wanted to make a guys card. Not the easiest thing in the world I'll tell ya. Anywho I found this free digital image on Digital Two For Tuesdays http://digitaltuesday.blogspot.com and thought it would be great. I also did this card for two challenges who's sketches were almost identical.

The first is for a sketch over at CCC on Cafemom.

The second challenge is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #40 http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com I tried to follow the sketch but I did have to leave some embellishment off because it overpowered the card.

Thanks for looking.

Miss Anya Valentine

OK so onto my second card post today.

This sweet Miss Anya valentine card I made for a few challenges.

The first challenge is a sketch challenge at A Spoonfull of Sugar http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ and I had lots of fun with this challenge. The sketch was so pretty. Although I realized just a minute ago that the copy I made of the sketch was so faint that I missed putting another heart element on the card. Hope I don't get penalized

The second challenge is my second card for the Lili of the Valley challenge http://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ this week which is Valentines cards.

The third is a color challenge at The Color Throwdown http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/ and the colors this week were Soft Sky, Pink Pirouette, and Kraft. I know that there is also red in my card but I hope that they can forgive me for that. LOL.

The fourth is for the Creative Card Crew http://creativecardcrew.blogspot.com and this is the first time I have played along with a challenge of thiers. The challenge was to create a Valentine card.

Thanks for looking and I will be back later this week with more.

Tons of Love

Happy Monday to you all.

For the first post today I want to share with you a Valentine card I made over the weekend. This card works for a couple challenges.

First challenge is the Whimsical Wednesdays at http://thediedrichdare.blogspot.com/ and it was a sketch challenge drawn by her son Jack. It was a very cute sketch.

The second challenge is for the Lili of the Valley Challenge blog at http://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ The challenge was to make a Valentine card. Well I think you can see I nailed that one.

The third challenge is over at Crafty Cardmakers http://craftycardmakers.blogspot.com/ and the challenge was to use some kind of digital element. Well for this card I used a digi stamp that is a Dustin Pike freebie. Isn't he cute?

The fourth challenge is at Cupcake Crafts Challenge http://cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com/ and the challenge is Red & White all over. I know my image is gray so I hope that wont disqualify me.

Multi-Challenge Card

Wow another multi challenge card this week. I am on a roll. LOL.

The first challenge this card is for is a sketch challenge over at KL Stampin N Scrappin http://klstampinnscrappin.blogspot.com/ This is my first time playing along with thier challenge and I can guarantee it wont be the last. I really enjoyed myself with this sketch.

The next challenge was Flutter By Wednesday #95 http://flutterbywednesdays.blogspot.com/ and thier challenge was an open challenge as long as you included a butterly, fairy or angel on your card. I used the Huggabug fairies on mine to qualify.

The 3rd challenge was at ABC Challenge http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ and thier challenge this week was to use something NEW. Well almost everything I used on my card was newly purchased or new to me. The image was new from a swap I just received this week, the ribbon I purchased a couple weeks ago, and the patterned paper was given to me for Christmas.

The 4th challenge is over at Cute Card Thursday http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com and the challenge is Spots & Dots well as you can see I've got those al over the card from the patterned papers to the image itself. This was my first time doing a Cute Card Challenge and I can't wait to participate again.

3 Challenges in 1

Hey everyone, it's February. I can't beleive it. There is so much going on this month, Seafood & Wine festival this weekend, Monster Truck show and the Daytona 500 and Valentine's Day the next weekend, and my Birthday right after that. So much fun this month.

Today I want to share a card I made for 3 different challenges.

The first challenge was a sketch challenge at http://anyoneforanya.blogspot.com The sketch was for a square card so I changed it a little to make it A2 sized but the overal integrity of the sketch is there.

The second challenge was a color challenge over at http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com The challenge was All About Pink.

The third challenge was a recipe challenge at http://nutcrafters-nutshells.blogspot.com The recipe was to use at least 3 layers, ribbon and glitter. For the glitter I stickled the heart on her coat, eyeshadow, and the shoe buttons, plus the PP has glitter on some of the dots.

For the card I used the image Madelynn from the Twinkle Tots line at The Greeting Farm. I colored her in using Copics and Bic Mark-its. I used stickles to accent her. The cardstock is from Core'dinations and the PP is from a $1 pack I got from Target. I used my new border punch Effervescent from Fiskars and threaded hot pink cording through part of the punched out paper. The bling is from my stash.
