Wonderful Winnie

Hey there and Happy Monday to you all. I hope you all had a great weekend, I was busy but I managed to start my Smashbook and get a couple cards done. YAY me.

Today I want to share with you a card I made for the current challenge over at Saturated Canary. I absolutely adore these stamps. Kristy is an amazing artist and they are so fun to work with. This is Winnie without her trailer. I hope Kristie doesn't mind. I paired her with some fun Echo Park and My Mind's Eye paper. I used my scalloped Nestie and a Fiskars border punch to follow the challenge theme. Finally I added some Prima flowers and dew drops.

Lovey Pup

Good afternoon everyone. I have a card to share with you that I made for the most recent challenge over at Meljen's Designs. The challenge was .........Red and/or Pink AND Kraft. I think you may still have a short time to get your entries in before tomorrow's challenge starts.

My card is made using a pre-colored digi call Lovey Pup. Isn't he just the cutest. I really love the pre-colored digis that melissa has to offer because when you are in a pinch for time they are all ready for you. Plus they are colored so well. I used some locally made DP  from a company called Paper Pizzaz. I had some fun crimped paper that I thought would frame the image well, especially when I added the twine. Then I used some Kraft hearts that I got from my friend, Lizzie, and some DP hearts that I got from my friend, Sylvia.

Saturated Canary GDT Call

OMG, I am so excited. Saturated Canary is looking for a few Guest Designers!! My friend, Carisa told me about this recently and after thinking about it I decided why not try out.

I  have created a fun hippie-esque card for my GDT entry, using the Winnie image. I cut her out so that she would be by herself and not with the travel trailer she normally hangs out with. I had this fun mat stack from K & Company that really had the right vibe for the image, so I  went with two of the papers from the stack. I knew this card had to be fun yet organic so I added some twine that I recycled from some homemade Christmas cookie wrapping, some crocheted flowers, some handmade and stamped primo clay buttons and then finished it with the heart clip and set eyelets for the holed the twine threads through. I was so excited to use tons of new embellies that I got over the  last few weeks.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my entry. I really hope you like it. Fingers Crossed, there is some  amazing talent already entered.

"NEW" Challenge

HAPPY FRIDAY everyone. I have a new card I want to share with you. I made it for the current challenge over at the Card Makin Mamas Challenge Blog. What is the challenge you ask? Well it is..........

HAPPY NEW YEAR

We want to see either a New Year card or some thing NEW that you received recently. Let's show off our new goodies.

The sponsor this challenge is ME. I have a mystery box of crafting goodies to give away. There is a little bit of everything in there. I have been filling it over the holidays.
For my card I used Firefly Fairy from MelJen's Designs. The "NEW" part of my card is the gorgeous paper. I was the lucky recipient of a Mystery Craft Box from my dear friend, Carisa, and when I saw this paper in the box I about fell over it was so beautiful. In the box there were also coordinating paper diecuts. I used one of the tabs and cut it in half to use on this card. The ribbon is a new purchase from a LSS.

Seeing Stars.

Hey everyone. I hope you all made it through the Holidays with happy hearts and many fun stories to tell. I know I did.

Well it's Thursday and that means a NEW CHALLENGE over at Meljen's Designs. This week's challenge is:

For my card this week I used a fantastic image called Book Girl. Check out this fabulous image (which can be purchased along with the rest of Meljen's fabulous images) at the the Meljen's Shop. I used some great double sided paper called "tent trailer" from October Afternoon. I topped it off with some red twine and two red wooden star buttons.

Now head on over to the Meljen's Designs DT blog so that you can check out this week's challenge along with all the fabulous DT cards. FYI, the challenge gives you a chance to win free images.
