Nutshells Challenge #21

Hey everyone. I am here to share with you my FINAL Guest Design Team card for this weeks challenge at nutcrafters-nutshells .

Challenge #21 is a little different, it is ANYTHING BUT A CARD. That means go wild, you can create bags, tags, altered notebooks, bookmarks, basicall if you can make it with paper and its not a card, it counts. You can even use the stamps on a Layout.

Remember that you must use a stamp that is carried in the Nutcrafters store to qualify for the prize!!! So go over to Nutcrafters and see the selection of stamps. And remember you have 2 weeks for this challenge.

Oh my and I forgot to tell you what the prize is. This week's prize a a set from The Greeting Farm. The lucky winner will get the Amazing Duo set.

This week I chose to alter a checkbook cover. I have used an image from the mid-July release. I thought the wishing well was perfect for the checkbook. I used some paper from an Angel Company paper stack that I had lying around, I tried to make it look somewhat like grass and sky. For the flowers I used a flower ribbon that I got in the Target dollar bin. For the sun I layered some yellow flowers together. The sentiment I handwrote.

I want to finish this post by saying thanks so much to the ladies over at Nutcrafters for allowing me to be a part of thier team these last 2 months. I have had lots of fun with you guys.

WOYWDW

OK so it seems like many of my friends are doing this post "What is on Your Work Desk Wednesday" so I thought it might be fun to get in on it.

Here are 2 pics of what is going on on my desk. I am actively working on some cards that at this time shall remain a secret. Therefore I have turned the colored images around so that you can't see them. Hee-Hee. I also have a partially colored TGF Cheeky Girl that I am trying to find the right paper to work with.

This is a full s hot of my crafty station since I don't think I have shared it before. I need to do some serious reorganizing of it. I am having issues finding stuff. I just did the top 2 shelves on on unit and the top shelf on the other. Now its time to work on the rest. Ugg

Well thanks for looking.

Pretty in Pink

Hey everyone it is Monday again and I am so not liking it. Oh well I guess.

Here is my first card this week. Hopefully there will be more, since my husband is out of town on work I should have ample crafty time after the kids go to bed.

Well this card is made for several challenges and while normally I am super critical of my work, this card I am soooo super duper pleased with. The image was gifted to me from my fab friend, Dee, and I was so excited to work with it. The other part of this card that makes me super happy is that I finally got to use the punch out from my wedding invitations, that would be the light grey and white monogramed rectangle behind the image. I have been holding onto these for 7 yrs hoping to use them for something.
