Thanks Dee

My dear friend Dee gave me this blog award recently and I completely spaced posting it, so I am doing it now. I am so appreciative of her acknowledging me because to be honest I don't think I'm that good at this card stuff. LOL.

This is what Miss Dee had to say about me.
Jessica - who is such a fun gal!! I just had the chance to meet her near her hometown and she took me to her favorite stamping shops and we enjoyed a nice cup of coffee on such a pretty day! I'm so glad we got a chance to meet and I look forward to hanging out with you again, soon! Big hugs to you, Sweetie!

Well THANK YOU Dee and I too had a blast hanging out and I can't wait to do it again.

Part of receiving the award is sharing it with 7 other people, and then sharing 7 things about yourself...

The 7 Beautiful Bloggers that I would like to share this with are:

I am inspired by you. I wished we lived closer so that I could actually talk to you in person and not on FB. LOL. Hugs to you and thanks for your support recently.

To Norma Jean http://normajean8105.blogspot.com/. I had the wonderfuol pleasure of working with Norma on the TGF Royal Battle as a part of the Farmaholics team. Thank you so much for that I had fun. You are very talented and a great person. I am glad to know you.

So many challenges

Hey there everyone and Happy Monday. First off I want to say Happy Birthday to my beautiful son AJ who is turning 3 today. I can't beleive how grown up he is.

Now onto the card and the challenges. This card fit 7 challenges. That is a record for me.

1. The sketch challenge over at Inspirational Card Sketches http://icsketches.blogspot.com/ is what I used to create the card with.

2. Over at Digital Tuesday http://digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ we were challenged to create something representing either April Flowers or April Showers. I used flowers.

3. Over at ABC Challenge http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ we were challenged to use sparkle. I used sparkly paper and bling. I also added it to the image but the camera didnt pick it up.

4. Over at Fab & Funky http://fabnfunkychallenges.blogspot.com/ we were to use old and neglected stash. The neglected stash I used was the papers and the bling. The papers were scraps that had been sitting for quite some time.

5. Over at the Prarie Fairy challenge blog http://prairiefairyfridays.blogspot.com/ we were challenged to distress something. I took the Gemstones Core'dinations scraps that I had and distressed the edges of the papers. With the other Core'dinations scraps I embossed them and sanded the embossing and then distressed the edges.

6. At Kaboodle Doodles http://kaboodledoodles.blogspot.com/ the challenge was to emboss. I used my Cuttlebug and the Swiss dots folder on the Core'dinations scraps.

7. Over at the Cuttlebug Spot http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/ we were told to use our fave flower (and of course embossing). I love wildflowers and that is what I thought the image and the Primas represented.

Card Details:
Paper - Core'dinations
Image - Bugaboo Stamps (colored with Bic Mark-its & Copics)
Accents - embossing (Swiss Dots - Cuttlebug), Prima Flowers, misc. bling

Good Afternoon

Hey there. I'm stopping by the Wednesday to show off my newest creation which was used for a couple challenges.

The first challenge is from Cinema Saturday Challenge Blog http://cinemasaturdaycreativechallenge.blogspot.com/ and it is to make a card inspired by the movie UP and it must include balloons. Well I'll tell you, creating a house like Carl & Ellie's wasnt easy. However, adding Russell and Dug was.

The next challenge is from the Nutshells Challenge #13 over at http://nutcrafters-nutshells.blogspot.com/ and it was to make a shaped card and mine is shaped like a house (as well as I can do).

Well thanks for stopping by and looking.

Baby Card using Toby Cub

Well hello everyone. I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. I know I did.

No onto this wonderful card for some great friends who had a baby this past week. I have created this card for several challenges.

1. The first challenge that this card is for is the Farm Fresh Friday challenge at the Greeting Farm blog http://splendidstamping.blogspot.com/ The challenge called for some Spring Cleaning so we were to use items that have been unused for quite some time. In this case it would be the papers and the metal swirl embellie.

2. The ladies at Cupcake Crafts challenged us to make a card representing childhood. Well this card remeinds me of my boys taking thier first steps. Check out the challenge at http://cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com/

3. Over at the Corrosive Challenge http://corrosivechallengesbyjanet.blogspot.com/ and at Totally Gorjuss http://totallygorjuss.blogspot.com/ we were asked to use texture in our cards. Well first the brown cardstock has a natural texture to it, the white dots on the green paper are embossed, and the paper weaving adds texture as well.

4. the last challenge is for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge, which my friends Dee and Callie are on the DT there http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/ The challenge was Spots & Dots ad we were to use two patterned papers that had spots or dots. My two papers ar ethe green & white dotted paper and the brown & blue dotted paper I used for the weaving.

Nutcrafters gave us all the same image to use and this is what I have done with it.
