I Want Candy!!!!!

It's Thursday which means NEW RELEASE DAY over at Meljen's Designs. Check out these fabulous images (which can be purchased along with the rest of Meljen's fabulous images, at the the Whimsy Stamps shop). Melissa really is feeling the spirit of St. Valentine, isn't she?

As always, with the new release comes a new CHALLENGE. Yay. This week's challenge is Put Your Heart On It! Create something with HEARTS! For my card this week I chose Conversation Hearts and I love the way it turned out. I used a both sides of a really cute piece of patterned paper that I received in a swap last year and a scrap piece of Core'dinations cardstock that I had in my stash. I topped it off with a really pretty ribbon that actually came wrapped around some bath towels that we got for Christmas. I hope you like it.

Get Your Motor Runnin'

Hey ladies it's Friday again and do you know what that means? It meant that there is another challenge over at the NEW Card Makin Mamas Challenge Blog.

So let's see what I have to share with you today. My card is made using Road Hawg which can be found here. I dont have nearly enough "man cards" so I thought this would be a fun image to use. I even went and got the Diamond Plate embossing folder from Cuttlebug to really give it a guy feel. Hope you like.

Va-va-va-voom

It has been an ongoing joke between us design team ladies about "getting our undies in a twist". Well apparently Melissa thought this was funny and she came up with this fabulous release just in time for Valentie's Day. Pretty cute huh?

For my card this week I chose to use both Little Brazier and Lacy Panties. I just got a new embossing folder (Textile by Cuttlebug) so I thought I would try it out with this card. I embossed Core'dinations cardstock and then sanded the embossed parts to give it a two tone effect.

For my card this week I chose to use two images from the release, Swirly Daisy Pot and Simple Little Butterfly. I am trying to clear out my old papers that I've never used so I picked these two which actually were part of a swap I did. I love them. I added some dew drops and flower eyelets to top it  off. Hope you  like.
